Elegant line pregnancy test: Are you pregnant? Have you done a pregnancy test, got a weak line, and now you're looking and wondering if it's positive or not? You are not alone — it is the nerve-breaking when you are waiting to find out if a new addition is on the way. On this day and at age, we don't have months to wait to see if our periods appear, but even the minutes and days that sometimes leads us to discover definitive results may seem ages. So what do we do when we're looking down on a test, wondering if that line is really there? This article will help you find out if that weak-line pregnancy test is legitimate or not, and what to do in any case. How pregnancy tests work What exactly causes that line to appear in a pregnancy test? The answer is a small hormone called human Gonadotropin Chorionic, or hCG for short. Your baby's placenta makes hCG help nourish the embryo. hCG is vital to maintain adequate levels of the main hormones of estrogen and progesterone pregnancy. Pregnancy test strips are especially treated, so when your urine hits them they end if hCG levels are detected. If hCG is not detected, the dye does not stick in the test line. But if it is, the test line will change the colors, making two lines appear in the window instead of one. If you take a pregnancy test before you have lost your period and get a weak line or even a negative result, don't worry. Not all pregnancy tests are created equal, and some require more hCG to show a positive result than others. What does a fake line mean? If your pregnancy test shows a positive result, this is what might be happening.1. It's really positive. Haven't you had your period yet? Did the positive results arise within the assigned time frame? Can you see the line without looking or holding it to a light, even if it's weak? Congratulations, you're probably pregnant. Although the amount of hCG in your body folds every two days or so, it may take a few days for that line to go from weak to dark. HCG levels can be detected in the urine after approximately two weeks from the time of conception. Levels will reach their peak at 8-11 weeks of pregnancy. You may be testing early, or possibly conceived later than you thought. As the days follow, and their hCG levels increase, your test must continue to darken. Most pregnancy tests have instructions on packaging. Be sure to read and follow them for the most accurate results.2. It is an EvapIf you are opting to use a traditional pregnancy test instead of a digital one, there is always the possibility that you can get a evaporation line, often called evap or an indent line. That's because every pregnancy test comes with two lines, a control and a test. Even if your test does not collect any hCG, that test line is still there, and when the test is dry, you can often see it. So how do you know if the line is positive or just an indent? If the line doesn't have color, or if it didn't show up until after your test has dried, you can bet it's probably an indent. That's why you should never read a pregnancy test after the assigned time, which is often 10 minutes . If you are in the time frame, but you can't tell if you are a positive or an indent, you can also use an app or invest a test image. If the line has any color, it will be displayed while you invest. If you do not, the test is probably negative.3. Chemical Pregnancy A chemical pregnancy is a term used to describe a precocious abortion usually before 5 weeks of gestation or that occurs before the fetus can be detected in an ultrasound. About 50 to 75 percent of these occur during early pregnancy, and generally do not affect a woman who gets pregnant again later. There is no definitive reason why chemical pregnancies occur. Many believe that they are often due to chromosomal abnormalities in the embryo. It is believed that often these embryos would not have been viable, so the body naturally ends it and does not allow the complete one. The good news is that chemical pregnancies usually have no impact on their ability and have a future. And it is generally safe for you to try to conceive immediately after a chemical pregnancy. Some people have a higher risk of chemical pregnancies. This includes being above the age of 35 and having medication conditions for which you are not getting the right treatment. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about your medical condition and the risk of a chemical pregnancy. Editor's Note: 4. Miscarriage Have you done a pregnancy test before with a brighter line, but suddenly the line has become lighter? Did you see your ultrasound fetus, but then you got a weak positive on a test later? If this is the case, it is, unfortunately, possible that you are suffering an abortion. Abortions are pregnancy losses that occur before 20 weeks of pregnancy. Most of them usually occur during the first 13 weeks. Scarriages can come without any symptoms other than bleeding, but some are common, , , and even contractions. Clinical abortions occur in about 10-25 percent of all pregnancies. A clinical abortion is different from a chemical pregnancy because it occurs after a heartbeat has been detected, or the fetus has been seen in an ultrasound. What You Can Expect Although there is nothing that can be done today to prevent premature abortion, you can talk to your doctor if you feel the need. If this has happened more than once, they might want to test to make sure there is no underlying problem, such as low progesterone or other hormonal problems. Your doctor may also advise you about when it is safe to start trying to conceive again. Blue dye, pink dye, or digital? Over the years, many different have come to the market. But with pink dye, blue dye, and even digital pregnancy tests to choose from, what should you go with? The short answer is anything but a blue dye. That's because the blue dye tests are notorious for the evaporation lines. These evaporation lines tend to have a gray dye to them thanks to the blue dye running through during the test process, making them look a weak positive when in fact no hCG was collected. So, with blue dyes out, should I reach a pink dye or a digital? Depends on where you're in your cycle. While digitals are easier to read, they tend to be less sensitive than pink dye testing. If you want to try before losing your period, a pink dye test is recommended. If you get a negative result but you don't trust the test results, repeat the test. Do this after at least 3 days to allow your hCG levels to rise higher. Good morning or pee at night? It is often said for the best results you should take a pregnancy test with your first-mother urine, but does it really matter? The answer is yes, something like that. Taking a first-hour pregnancy test is usually recommended because it is the time when the urine is the most concentrated. The more concentrated your urine, the higher the concentration of hCG. This is especially recommended if you are testing your urine. If the night revolves around and you just can't wait to try, we understand. But there are a few things you should consider: What to do if you get an elegant line pregnancy test If you saw a weak test in your pregnancy test, here is what you should do.1. Wait a few days and test againBecause some pregnancy tests require higher HCG levels than others, you may not be collecting enough of the hormone to cause a dark line yet. If you still see a weak line in a few days it might be a good idea to call your doctor. There they can do a blood test to determine if their hCG levels show that you are pregnant, as well as see if they are going up as they should be. In the meantime, start taking a, only in case you are really pregnant because you can help prevent. Blood tests may indicate the amount of hCG in your body. This will also help determine how much you are in your pregnancy if you are not sure.2. Ask your doctor for ultrasound If you try again and continue to get a weak line, it might be a good idea to ask your doctor for ultrasound. This is especially important if you are experiencing abdominal or . These may be signs that you are experiencing an ectopian pregnancy, where the embryo implants inside the uterus instead of your uterus. It is important to detect an early ectopian pregnancy because if the embryo is not eliminated, the fallopian tube can be broken. This can affect a mother's fertility, cause severe internal bleeding, and in severe cases it even results in death. Ideally, the doctor will perform an ultrasound exam and a serial HCG test, which involves two HCG quantitative tests in the blood done 2 days or so apart to see if the appropriate increase in hCG is occurring. What pregnancy tests give the best initial results? As we discussed earlier, all pregnancy tests are not made the same. Tests vary in price, sensitivity, and how your answer is given. If you want, it is better to choose a test that can detect hCG at a low level.
